...how to keep those lines crisp between visits.
Living in South Texas means dealing with two things: incredible food and intense humidity. While we can’t help you with the tacos, we can certainly help you keep your hair looking sharp when the dew point starts to climb.
Keep It Clean but Hydrated When you’re sweating more, you tend to wash your hair more often. This can strip away the natural oils that give your hair its weight and texture. We recommend a sulfate-free shampoo followed by a light conditioner. This keeps the hair from becoming "frizzy," which can blur the clean lines of a skin fade.
Choose the Right Product In dry climates, heavy pomades are great. But in the RGV heat, they can melt and run. Switch to a high-hold, matte clay or a water-based fiber. These products grip the hair better in humid conditions and won't give you that "greasy" look halfway through the afternoon.
The 2-Week Touch Up A tight fade usually starts to lose its "pop" after about 10 to 14 days. If you have a big event, don't wait a full month to see us. A quick "clean up" service focused just on the edges and the neckline can extend the life of your style significantly.
